Airport Urgench (Urgench Airport).

Urgench is an airport of international importance, also it has the same name with a city in the western part of Uzbekistan. The aerodrome belongs to the first class according to the international classification. At the beginning of 2006, a new modernized building was built, which can be passed one hour before 300 passengers. From Urgench airport daily regular passenger traffic is carried out to Tashkent and St. Petersburg. It should be noted that from the airport very often charter flights are carried out to almost all corners of the planet, as a rule, they are ordered by travel companies of the country. Also in 2008, a test flight of the Boeing-757 airplane was carried out with the Paris-Urgench message.

Runway airport is able to receive aircraft of various classes, namely, from the An-12 to An-124, all kinds of new models of silt and Tupolev, and landing and takeoff may carry out such liners as Boeing, Airbus, Sukhoi Superjet and similar models. Airport accepts all aircraft weighing up to 310 tons. There is a fully equipped and staffed area for helicopters third and fourth grade.

The recent modernization of the airport in Urgench allowed to receive the status of an international airport and serve a much larger number of passengers. The first category according to the ICAO classification was also assigned. The quality of service and food at the airport fully meets all international requirements and standards. A large number of passenger traffic provides a large number of tourists who flock to this place to contemplate the ancient oriental architecture of the East.
