AgustaWestland AW109 Power

In response to operators' requests, AgustaWestland has carried out work on a new modification, which has received the designation AW109E Power (A109) (AgustaWestland AW109 Power) and has successfully integrated the reliable design of the A109K2 and powerful motors. Initially, P & WCP206S was selected, power 640hp, but then the choice was on Turbomeca Arrius2K1, power 750hp.

The landing gear, which is not available on the A109K2, has given way to a new place, the main pillars of which are retracted into the sponsons (and not into the fuselage, as on the previous model 109). In addition, the tail section was modified, for example, the keel has already become, and the lower keel has become smaller. The main rotor has a titanium hub with elastomer bearings.
