The development of the AnJian unmanned aerial vehicle began by Chinese aircraft manufacturers in the first half of the 2000s. The new unmanned aerial vehicle received an exclusively military purpose, and was positioned as a means for carrying out military reconnaissance of the area, as well as as an independent combat unit. The main advantage of the AnJian unmanned aerial vehicle over other unmanned aerial vehicles is the supersonic speed of its movement in space, which allows it to overcome the enemy's air defense zone, and go deep either directly into the area where its main forces are located, or to destroy air defense systems in order to supply of other means of the Air Force.

Chinese unmanned aerial AnJian machine model was first introduced in 2008 year, however, for some reason, his first flight tests this air vehicle has undergone only a few years later, and, taking into account the official data, production of drones this model has not been deployed.

At the moment, information on the overall dimensions of the unmanned aerial vehicle AnJian not officially specified, however, on the basis of some periodically emerging data, the length of the device will be 6 meters, while the scope of the drone's wings will be limited 4,5 meters.

As the power plant at the unmanned aircraft will be used AnJian jet engine capable to overclock the device up to speed in 1520 km \ h., At the same time, the effective radius of action of the UAV will be 550 kilometers.
