Chronology of events:

After 30 minutes of flight, in the Narva area, one of the passengers to the stewardess passed a note demanding that the commander come out for "talking with a group of interested passengers", otherwise threatened with killing the crew. The flight attendant, making sure that the passenger does not follow her, went to the crew cabin and gave the commander a note. After reading it, he locked the door from inside and prepared a gun. After 1-2 minutes, audible sounds of explosions or shots were heard in the cabin and attempts were made to penetrate through the door into the cockpit. The crew informed the dispatcher of the attack and of the intention to make an emergency landing at Jõhvi airport. The commander, in response to attempts to open the door, fired, and then, handing the gun to the air mechanic, produced a "slide." There was an explosion outside the door and the door was damaged. The air mechanic answered with shots until the cartridges were over. As it turned out later, a passenger named Chechet at the salon scattered some objects, setting them on fire from cigarettes, and then they exploded. A fire broke out on board. The commander of the crew, conducting a sharp decrease from 900 m, produced a landing at the airport on a burning aircraft. The crew left the car after the stop. The commander of the crew at the same time broke his spine. Passengers left the board through the door. Two of them suffered minor injuries. The perpetrator died in a burning plane. The fuselage plane was almost completely burnt, despite the presence of a fire brigade at the airport.
