On the corpses and found parts of the aircraft there were no traces of a fire.

In this plane crash, my grandmother, my father's mother, Lydia Arnoldovna Vinogradova, died. Dad at the time of the catastrophe was only 4 years old, his brother 13. Since then, dad's brother Alexander Kurzanov has been living in Krasnoyarsk with his family, and dad has been in Omsk since that time (he has 3 children, including me). It is very painful from this tragedy and from the fact that nothing is known about the reasons, there is nowhere to go to remember. (Granddaughter of the deceased Vinogradova Olga).

In 73, we went on vacation to an Abkhaz village near Gagra, and the owner of the house where we were staying admitted that he was afraid to fly - not least because that plane fell (less than a year ago) in front of his eyes, and his "guest", unchanged over the past few years, was on board ... He then saw her off, watched the plane taxi to the runway, scatter (and she just waved to him from the window), takes off, and then ... It turned out that Yulian Semyonov and his daughter were supposed to fly on it, they were already "on suitcases", and then representatives of local TV came to their hotel and asked him to take part in the release of the local program. The author of "17 Moments" agreed, but on the condition that he would be helped to exchange tickets for a later flight. The TV crew succeeded (and then it was very difficult - tickets were purchased a month before the flight, otherwise it was most likely not to get on the desired flight), and the port air traffic controller took the opportunity and immediately bought a ticket for his daughter, who was "on leave" and who had to go to Moscow to study ... one can imagine the state of his father when, in front of his eyes, the plane with his daughter on board ... he sobbed loudly, cursing everything and everyone and shouting "what will I tell my mother?" Also on board were the well-known psychologist Vladimr Nebylitsyn and the sister of the famous circus artist Larita Magomedova (who shortly before that received an incredible injury, and then there was such a blow ... however, the artist withstood both blows and returned to duty) ... And Semenov took participation in the program, and then the TV crew took him personally to the airport. There he found out ... they say that he turned as pale as a sheet and stifledly thanked the television crew for the fact that it was they who saved the life of him and his daughter. The fate of the writer was meted out another 20 years.

The mystery of this tragedy does not leave me alone. I was in the fourth grade at the school opposite the crash site. I saw a rescue operation. For years, 12 has been investigating the causes at the amateur level, having entered into contact with relatives of the FAC Tikhonov V.G. and studying the materials of other researchers and witnesses of the tragedy, I had my own version of the death of the aircraft. I can’t say about her now, but this death was a deliberate, in fact, suicide of one of the crew members.

I was told about this flight by my dad. He had to return to it from a military sanatorium (he was then a colonel of the General Staff).
On his and my happiness, he was summoned earlier to the General Staff for one week, he passed the old ticket and flew off accordingly on another flight. And they called him because of the events in Prague (the entry of Soviet troops).
Already in Moscow he learned about this terrible catastrophe ...

The next day, ie. 2 October 1972 year, my wife and I flew flight AN-24 Sochi-Voronezh. It was almost 35 years since the tragedy, but I clearly remember everything. I already knew what had happened, but I kept my wife from hearing these messages, I thought that she might get scared and refuse to fly. However, already in the Adler area, we saw ships near the shore in the sea. I managed to lie to her, and she stopped paying attention to them. I remember that landing on board was terrible: night, shouts, noise, someone tried to climb without a ticket, then landed a drunk, finally somewhere in 23 hours took off. I watched the flight over the sea in minutes. Then a planned landing either in Krasnodar or Rostov and finally in the morning-Voronezh. And only here I told my wife about what happened. And about the cause of the death of the aircraft went different versions including this: on board was a Moscow commission with documents checking the Sochi public catering. There also died a young couple returning to Moscow after the wedding trip to the south .

A monument to this Moscow couple was erected on Vagankovsky. I saw him myself ...

And as I did not convince her that, according to the theory of probability, aircraft can not suffer accidents one by one, nothing helped ... We bought a ticket for a shuttle bus to Krasnodar and instead of 40 minutes of summer we were shaking in the mountain serpentine to Krasnodar almost 8 hours .. In Krasnodar itself, residents were also heard about the death of the aircraft, different versions were voiced ... The current tragedy in Adler with the death of the renowned collective - the ensemble named after Aleksandrov, journalists and pilots, reminded me of this long history of 1972.

And my wife and I were supposed to fly on the next day morning at Krasnodar. But when they found out at the airport of Adler that the night before the plane crashed at Moscow airport started to panic. People rushed to take the next flight. Not escaped this fate and my wife.
