"Hawk-2" is a UAV target, developed by the Bulgarian company "Aviakhnika". This model was produced by order of the Warsaw Pact countries. Work to create a target called "Hawk" began in 1972 year. In 1981, the model of the unmanned target "Yastreb" was sent for serial production. And in 1983 year he was replaced by "Hawk-2". The UAV is controlled from a ground control station or autopilot. Telemetry data is transmitted in the form of digital or analog signals, which are displayed in the command post on the TV monitor.

The target is used for training in shooting from air defense systems and anti-aircraft artillery. The launch of the UAV is made from the platform using a small rocket booster. The complex consists of the UAV itself, a launch platform mounted on a truck and a control system. Maintenance of the complex requires the work of 4 people. The time spent on the deployment of the complex before the launch of the UAV is up to 25 minutes. Before 1990, about 1,5 thousand targets were manufactured, most of which were sent to the USSR. Also these complexes were delivered to Iraq and India.
