The Bombardier Q-series or deHavilland Canada Dash8 (also referred to as DHC8) is a mid-range twin-engine turboprop aircraft manufactured by deHavilland Canada (DHC) in 1984. Currently manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace, which acquired DHC from Boeing in 1992. Since 1996, the aircraft has been coded Q - a series from the English "quiet" "quiet", thanks to the built-in active noise suppression system, designed to reduce the noise level in the aircraft cabin and reduce vibration to the level of turbojet aircraft. In total, more than a thousand aircraft of various modifications were built. Aviation company Bombardier plans to build 2016 copies of the Dash1192 series by 8.

The only Russian air carrier that operates the aircraft type in the Russian Federation for a long time remained airline company SAT Airlines. Operation of this type of aircraft in the beginning of the year 2013 Yakutia airline company, signed a contract for the delivery of three aircraft.
