UAV BSK Defense Phaethon J became designed by the Greek scientists and experts in the field of aerospace engineering and technology at the end of 2000-ies. The new device was developed for use in military applications, in particular, the drone to be used as an intelligence tool that allows to detect covert movement of the enemy, and, both on the ground and in the air.

The relatively simple design of UAV BSK Defense Phaethon J provided a sufficiently low value of this device, which is why his popularity was very high - for now this model drones operated by the armed forces of countries such as Greece, Italy and Spain.

For military applications, unmanned aerial vehicle model BSK Defense Phaethon J has a fairly compact dimensions of its fuselage, in particular, the length of the drone and a wingspan up only 2,2 meters, making it unobtrusive for radar systems.
