Licensed production was also established: in Italy by Macchi for the Italian Air Force (150 aircrafts under the designation M.416) and in Brazil specially created by Fokker Industrie Aeronautica SA (supplied 100 aircraft).

The last of the listed companies also developed a modification of the "Instructor" airplane - the S-12 aircraft, which used a chassis with a bow rack. 50 aircraft of this modification was built for the Brazilian Air Force. In operation in the Netherlands, S.11 was also used as an initial training airplane for parts of the Navy until its final withdrawal together with the remaining airborne units from service at the end of 1973. Some of the former military aircraft S-11 in the 1970-ies found their way into the European civil registers, these aircraft were popular in the flight clubs of both Holland and Italy. One copy (E-31) from former Dutch Navy aircraft also appeared in 1977 in the Civil Registry under the number G-BEPV as a copy of the Strathallan Collection, and although it departed all 1980 years, its Certificate of Airworthiness should Was only due to expire in April 1993.
