GAF A92 JINDIVIK UAV target

A92 Jindivik - drone target as developed by the experts of the Australian company GAF. The first copy of unmanned target of 19.10.1951 was released, but the air is first raised the second instance - UAV A92-2, 28.08.1952 it happened, the first mass-produced 12 Jindivik Mk.1 manned UAV engines Rolls-Royce Siddeley Viper Mk 201, the thrust of which was 1247 kg. UAVs of various sets of steel service in the Royal Air Force and the Navy, sent to the Air Force Institute of Australia.

Also a lot of the targets set in other countries (USA, UK and Sweden). Model A92 used not only as a target, but also acted as an auxiliary towing targets. Its equipment allows to simulate flying low-flying missiles and aircraft on the radar screen. Also, the UAV is able to carry the container with the camera. Surprisingly, Jindivik currently not withdrawn from service Navy and Air Force of Australia (where it is indicated the name N11).
