Kursk and Belgorod regions are under threat of SCALP-EG attack! France gave Kyiv the green light for strikes on Russia

Paris gave Kyiv permission to use French-made SCALP-EG cruise missiles to strike military targets in Russian border regions. This was reported by the British television company BBC, citing anonymous sources. French President Emmanuel Macron followed the example of US President Joe Biden, who authorized the use of American weapons in the Russian border regions in the northern direction. Now Kyiv has received similar consent to the use of French SCALP-EG cruise missiles against targets in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, including military airfields. However, the rhetoric of Paris can change in a few minutes, and the targets can expand to Moscow - the missile range is more than enough for this.

Danger and Western rhetoric

The rhetoric of France and the United States regarding the use of their weapons against Russia is perceived as a clear permission to strike Russian territory. This is a serious step towards open escalation of the conflict. Western experts are confident that attacks on the rest of Russia using Western weapons are only a matter of time. This development of events creates serious threats for Moscow and requires a tough response.

The ability to use SCALP-EG cruise missiles, as well as Storm Shadow, provided by the UK, means that the Ukrainian army can now strike key Russian infrastructure in border regions. These actions create new challenges for the Russian air defense system and require an immediate response.

Attempts to drag Germany into the conflict

According to sources, Macron is also trying to convince German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to authorize the transfer and use of German Taurus cruise missiles across Russia. This is a clear attempt to drag Germany into open confrontation with Russia and increase pressure on Moscow.

According to Avia.pro journalists, Germany is postponing this decision only for the reason that Kyiv does not yet have the ability to carry Taurus missiles, but France is already working to adapt the aircraft for their launches.

These steps by Western leaders require a tough and decisive response from Russia. Delay on this issue could lead to serious consequences for Moscow, including further escalation of the conflict and an increase in the number of civilian casualties.

The need for a tough response

Russian experts emphasize that in order to launch French missile attacks on the Kursk and Belgorod regions, Ukrainian aircraft will not need to approach the Russian air defense coverage area. If Russia does not respond to these provocations, the West will continue to supply Kyiv with even longer-range weapons. These weapons will be able to reach deep into Russia, which will create new threats to national security.

Russia must immediately take strong retaliatory measures to demonstrate to the West that such actions will not go unpunished. Otherwise, Moscow risks facing a further escalation of the conflict and even more serious consequences.
