The navigation computer

The navigation computer is designed for automatic piloting on the route and in areas of the aerodromes of departure and landing.

It provides:

continuous automatic detection of the current position of the aircraft in the main or private coordinate system by dead reckoning;

radix conversion of coordinates of the aircraft:

a) when flying in the main orthodromy - relative to the entered coordinates of intermediate route points;

b) when flying in private orthodromies - relative to the next section of the route;

flying on the shortest distance to any point on the route;

correction coordinate notation according to radio

RSBN system resources (automatically) and radar landmarks using radar RPSN (semi-automatic);

deciphering radar unidentified benchmark according RPSN;

definition and displayed values wind speed and direction;

issuing signals TAL pointers NPP and NL-3;

forming and delivery in an automatic device signals readiness lateral deviation and track angle OZPU.

The calculator used a digital way to display all parameters except the values IZPU, OZPU, U and B, which are measured on a sliding scale of indicators-dial. The calculator provides the motor installation, automatic input and display of the following parameters:

coordinate plane on the counter or indexing units;

current radix-private orthodromic coordinate Z and 5 respect to a given path - on the counters, which lit the lamp with the symbols «Z» and «5»;

current orthodromic coordinate plane in the coordinate system of the main great circle - on meters with indicator lamps «X» and "K";

current chastnoortodromicheskih transformed coordinates of the aircraft with respect to the intended track following - on meters without signaling literal origin;

Coordinate waypoint on meters with indicator lights having respective designations;

coordinate RSBN lighthouses or radar guidance with respect to the current line of a given path, or the main great circle -

on counters, in which the indicator lights are lit with the appropriate images;

a predetermined track angle OZPU1 current line of a given path on a scale № 1 and predetermined track angle OZPU2 following the intended track on the scale № 2 indicator, setpoint OZPU block P-12, true given the track angle (IZPU) or the great circle track angle meridian (SCUM) on IZPU setpoint scale block P-9;

wind speed and direction - on the scale of the set point of the wind (unit HB-2P), the distance remaining to the MRP and MRP or the number nearest to the TBI unit P-33.

Preparation of data for programming sing

For the flight using the navigation computer navigator provide the following information: specified angles of travel; mid-latitude regions of the route;

long sections of the route; rectangular coordinates of radio correction;

Great Circle azimuths relative meridians of land beacon RSBN.

Preset angles travel route segments defined by the formulas:

After the passage of the MRP switch "KS" turn off. The aircraft will follow for the next waypoint. Correction coordinates according RSBN produce necessary.

After turning on the IPM (the last waypoint in the terminal area) go on reckoning coordinates mode «40», for which:

switch "Kyrgyzstan" on the block P-14 - turn off;

switch "GO-40» set to «40»;

the display-adjuster 03G1U block P-12 set to LSD, and set the distance to the waypoint IPM.

After the passage of the IPM on-hand dial indicators ISP blocks P-4 and Pg5 set 2 = 0 and 5, equal to the length of the second leg.

Operation is similar to the following stages.

Out of the terminal area of the aircraft and the flight route n mode «40»

For IPM taken center VG1P airfield takeoff.

1. Before taxiing out:

switch "LZP-1-LZP-2» set to "LZP-1»;

switch "GO-cho" - position «40»;

switch "Network" - turn;

counters on the current position of blocks P and P-2-3 set the Z = 0, and S, equal to the length of the first section of the route;

the display-adjuster unit P-12 set the ZPU4 and ZPU2;

MRP coordinate adjuster blocks P and P-4-5 set the Z - 0, and S, equal to the length of the second leg;

switch "LZG1-1» - LZP-2 »set in the neutral position.

2. After taxiing onto the runway axis, perform the initial alignment of the TKS-P gyro units and set the “Consumers” switch to the “Control” position.

3. In the run-up in the center of the aircraft VG1P switch "Schisl." P-14 unit set to "Anal." Or "Pulse".

4. When you climb 1000 m, follow the PPM by connecting the calculator.

The display-adjuster OZPU block P-12 set the value of the next portion of the TAL desired course.

MRP coordinate adjuster blocks P and P-4-5 set Z = 0 and 5, equal to the length of the next segment of the path.

Flying the shortest distance poi reckoning coordinates mode «40»

Mode "KR" (the shortest distance) is used when needed to change the route and to enter a new waypoint.

To do this: coordinate MRP adjuster blocks P and P-4-5 set the Z coordinate of the MRP and S relative to the current track.

The specified track angle on the new MRP has to work on a free-adjuster OZPU display and on the free counters current position should be practiced values and Z = 0 5, equal to the distance to the new MRP;

switch "LZP-1-LZP-2» set in a position corresponding to a free counters current position (blocks P and P-2-3, which do not burn the symbols Z and S); turn switch "KR" on G1-14; switch "LZP-1-LZP-2» set in the neutral position.

This aircraft will follow the new waypoint on the shortest distance.
