Besides aircraft UH-1 «Hugh» (Huey) of "Bell" no post-war Western combat aircraft not built in as much as the F-86. The total number of aircraft, including the licensing of construction in Canada, Australia and Japan, was an instance of 9502 13 least certain land and decked modifications. In December 1950, F-86 Saber planes were thrown into battle over Korea, where they soon won fame in the fierce battles with the MiG-15 aircraft as the "creators of the Aces".

The fighting required new modifications of the aircraft, at the same time, aircraft equipped with radar F-86D widely used Command air defense as its first all-weather interceptor. By the end of 1950-ies in the Navy and served as a dynasty naval fighter FJ-2 / 3 and -4. Single copies of the aircraft F-86 remain in the Air Force before starting a series of 1990-ies.
