A network of minefields is deployed in eastern Syria

The Russian military began to establish extensive minefields in Syria. We are talking about the mining of entire regions in the east of the Arab Republic, while, according to sources, the main reason for this is an attempt to thereby stop any movement of ISIS terrorists equipment (terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation - approx. Ed.).

According to some reports, we are talking about the deployment of three vast minefields.

New truce announced in Idlib

Russia and Turkey reached a new ceasefire agreement in the Syrian province of Idlib. The latter should come into force on January 12 of this year, and its main goal is the delivery of humanitarian aid and the withdrawal of civilians from war zones.

Given the current situation in Syrian Idlib, experts believe that the ceasefire is unlikely to last more than 48 hours, while, within the framework of recent agreements, the ceasefire was only observed for a few hours.
