Su-35 taught a lesson to Turkish F-16

Attempts by the Turkish military to dislodge Syrian government forces from Khan Sheikhun and its environs resulted in complete demoralization for the Turkish Air Force - F-16 fighters invading Syrian airspace attempted to pursue Syrian combat aircraft in order to bring them down, however, the appearance of Russian Su -35 forced the Turkish pilots to retreat.

Subsequently, the Turkish F-16 tried to enter Syrian airspace at least three times, however, when Russian combat aircraft appeared in the sky, the latter retreated, not even trying to get closer to the Russian air force to a distance of less than 80 kilometers.

Attack on Hmeimim

Khmeimim air base was again attacked by militants. According to local sources, at least two dozen rockets of the Grad MLRS were fired at the Russian airfield.

It is reported that the attack was repulsed by Russian air defense systems, however, it is noteworthy that an unknown Turkish drone was spotted 30-40 minutes from the Khmeimim airbase 40-50 kilometers, which does not exclude the possibility that it was the Turkish drone that could coordinate the attacks on the positions of the Russian military.

The battle for Khan Sheikhun is almost over

The military operation to storm the city of Khan Sheikhun continues. From the beginning of the day, the Syrian army managed to take control of about half of the city, while informed sources report that heavy equipment was almost completely withdrawn from the city, and therefore the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Air Force only seeks out small terrorist groups.
