The terrorists rushed to the attack

Despite the truce announced today by the Syrian Arab Army, it became known that the terrorists are at least two groups, and we are talking about the group "Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham" and "Free Syrian Army" (banned in Russia - approx. Ed.), carried out an attack on the Syrian military.

It is known that the Iranian UAV "Ababil-3", which controlled the situation from the air, was shot down by terrorists (about Iranian formations report a crash due to technical problems - ed.), While the positions of the Syrian government forces were repeatedly fired upon.

However, the Syrian troops only carried out the defense of their own positions, without launching offensive attacks against the militants.

Blow to Idlib

Despite the ceasefire announced, this afternoon, the Western coalition’s combat aircraft launched powerful attacks on Syrian Idlib. Initially, it was reported that the blow could have been dealt by the Russian military. However, later, the command of the Western coalition confirmed the strike on Idlib, citing the fact that the air strike was connected with the need to eliminate a large group of al-Qaeda militants (a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation - approx. Ed.).

It is noteworthy that after the attack on Idlib, Western and Middle Eastern media immediately criticized Russia and Syria, citing the fact that the agreements were disrupted, however, as it turned out, it was precisely as a result of the American side’s attack that at least 40 people were killed.
