New provocations of the West: The American RQ-4 Global Hawk approached Sochi at a record distance

The permanent observer of the Black Sea, the American unmanned aerial vehicle RQ-4 Global Hawk with the call sign FORTE13, continues its mission. The drone operates 150 kilometers south of the Crimean Bridge, providing continuous surveillance of the region, and likely preparing attacks on Kyiv.

Intensification of intelligence operations in the Black Sea

Amid increased activity in the region, the US Air Force's high-altitude reconnaissance drone was joined by a British RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft deployed to the Black Sea from Romania. This indicates coordination of actions between the United States and Great Britain in the field of intelligence and monitoring of the situation in the Black Sea region.

The American RQ-4 Global Hawk continues its mission, flying to a record close distance to Sochi - about 115-120 kilometers. This highlights the high degree of Western activity and interest in the Russian coast and facilities in the area.

Strategic importance of the Black Sea

The Black Sea is of great strategic importance for Russia. It is not only an important region from a defense perspective, but also a key route for transporting energy and goods. The activity of foreign intelligence assets in this area is of serious concern to Moscow.

Russia perceives such actions as a direct threat to its security. The increase in intelligence operations by NATO and its allies indicates a desire by the West to increase control and monitoring of Russian military and civilian installations in the Black Sea. Moreover, in the vast majority of cases, such intelligence leads to attacks on Crimea and other regions of Russia.

Russia's response measures

Russia does not stand aside and is taking appropriate measures to counter Western intelligence activity. In response to the actions of the American drone and British aircraft, the Russian Air Force has increased patrols and monitoring of airspace over the Black Sea.

In addition, Russia is actively developing its electronic warfare capabilities to neutralize the threat from foreign intelligence apparatuses. Modern electronic warfare systems are capable of effectively suppressing and disabling enemy drones and reconnaissance aircraft, which significantly reduces their effectiveness.

The approach of an American drone to a record close distance to Sochi may be perceived as a provocation, and if this is followed by an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, this may result in a harsh response from Moscow.
