Thanks to the additional nose wings in the front of the fuselage (which is very rare for civil aviation ships), the AvantiII model is recognizable unmistakably from afar. "Nose-tail" generates a lift, because of which the horizontal rear stabilizer is transformed into an additional supporting surface.

As a result, the load on the wing decreases at 34 percent, thereby decreasing the size of the wing, and the aerodynamic resistance is decreased and speed of the vessel increases.

This method of lift is considered a "technology of three bearing surfaces," which was created and patented by Piaggio Aero Industries.
