A combined transfer by plane and speedboat is usually used as an auxiliary one. Hotels reserve this option in case of a flight delay on which their guests arrive in Male. A combined transfer is always more complicated, but when there is no other way out and you really don’t want to spend the night in the capital, it will do.

Speedbot

Due to the considerable distance between the islands, boat transfers are only possible in some cases. They are generally offered only by hotels located in the Kaafu Atoll (North and South Male).

Speedboat transfers are much cheaper and faster than other options. Many luxury hotels, such as the Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa, have comfortable speedboats that pick up guests from Male immediately upon arrival.

Private transfer

Particularly demanding guests can take advantage of the benefits of a private transfer. It is significantly more expensive, but many times more comfortable. Considering that a private transfer is paid for in full, for a group of 8-10 guests the difference in price will not be that great.

• Hydroplane. Almost all resorts cooperate with private and state airlines, so there are no problems with organizing a private seaplane transfer - you just need to notify about its need in advance. The most luxurious resorts (for example, Soneva hotels) have their own seaplanes.

• Speedbot. If desired, you can book a private transfer on a luxury boat. Indoor air-conditioned cabin, included drinks and chilled towels, service on board - all for the benefit of guests.

• Yacht. The beginning of a holiday in the Maldives can turn into its decoration, especially if you order a private transfer on a yacht.
