“Sky-SV” is a family of radar stations of the meter range of domestically produced waves. The creator was the Nizhny Novgorod Radio Engineering Research Institute (NIIRT). They were produced in versions for ground forces and air defense forces. In the air defense variant, the assembly / disassembly time is substantial, the antenna system is more complicated, the station's capabilities are greater. The radar entered service in 6 year. In 1995, work was carried out to improve the station. On this task worked OCD "Niobium" - a modification of 2011 W X55UM. The station was produced by the Nizhny Novgorod Television Factory. In the spring of 6, the station entered the forces of the Western Military District. In the summer of 2016 she came into service in the Central Military District.
