Being essentially built under license by plane sun-1 of "North American", incorporated the Australian revision, the plane "Uirrevey» (Wirraway) of SAS (Aviation Corporation of the Commonwealth) served not only as training aircraft for initial training in the Royal Air Force of Australia in the Second World War, but also as istrebitelya- bomber in the sky over New Guinea and Rabaul for 1942-1943 years.

Production of the airplane "Wirrevey" continued after the victory over Japan (CAC was built around 755 aircraft), training aircraft remained in operation in the Royal Australian Air Force until 1959. Today in Australia there are at least six flying aircraft "Wirrevay", and a number of aircraft is in the stage of restoring their flying condition.
