O-RING
O-rings, circular cross-section profile of rubber or synthetic material item for the seal device in pneumatic or hydraulic systems.

OIL COOLER
Oil cooler heat exchanger to cool engine oil by a stream of fuel or air.
OIL SEPARATOR
Oil separator, a device used to separate the unwanted presence of air from the engine oil returning to the crankcase or oil pan.
OIL STRAINER
Oil filter, oil filter variety.

OPEN CIRCUIT
OPEN circuits, electrical circuit, which does not close the source of the power supply to the ground due to a break in the wiring or the failure of an element in the chain.
OAT sm.-OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE.
OEW, sm.-OPERATING EMPTY WEIGHT.

OPERATING EMPTY WEIGHT
OPERATING empty weight, the weight of the aircraft, fully stocked, including the crew, but without fuel and commercial cargo.
OR GATE
LOGIC "OR" device or circuitry having two or more inputs and one binary information output. The output 1, when any one or more input signals 1. The output 0, when all inputs 0.
ORIFICE
Dimensional hole or hockey, the specific size of the hole in the part to control fluid flow to or from the component.
ORALNONOSOVAYA masks, oxygen mask covering only the nose and mouth.
OSCILLATE
Vibrate, fluctuate, rocking back and forth with a constant rhythm.
OUT OF DETENT
EXIT engagement condition allowing to get out of the neutral position or out of the slot engagement.
OUTER LOOP CONTROL
MANAGEMENT outer contour, for this is the autopilot control the flight path to consider the trajectory. An example is the control of heading, altitude and vertical speed.
OUTER MARKER
Outer marker beacon marker located on or near the place of capture the glide path during approach of ILS (instrument).
OUTFLOW VALVE
Discharge valve, the valve on the fuselage, the control flow of air from the atmosphere into the fuselage to control the supercharged aircraft.
OUTPUT
OUTPUT, the information signal coming from the system or the system.
OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE
Outdoor temperature, ambient temperature, or static undisturbed air.
OVERHAUL
Overhaul, repair the aircraft or any of its components as new, or, as in a production environment in its manufacture.
OVERRIDE
Overriding, blocking, method of controlling a component that is different from the usual method of control.
