Chronology of events:

Planes in 12: 13: 26 collided in the clouds at an altitude of 3900 m at 6 km from the Zolochev OPRS (at 64 km from the Lviv airport). The crews at the last moment found each other in the tears of cloud cover and tried to turn it sharply to the right. The collision took place on the left planes in the collision course (Tu-134 was in the right bank of 45 degrees, and An-26 in the right bank of 14 degrees). Both aircraft lost control and completely collapsed when colliding with the ground. An-26 collapsed in a field near the village of Khilchitsy.
