Trinity College of Aviation Technology is a branch of the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation

The school was organized on 08.07.1947/8/XNUMX on the basis of the former military school of aviation mechanics, which trained specialists for aviation weapons and radio operator gunners for bombers. And already starting from December XNUMX, the training of cadets was in full swing, most of them were yesterday's front-line soldiers.

The first head of the school Konstantin Zakharov. It was diverse abilities and amazing destiny of man. The first certificates of aircraft mechanics technicians spring 1950 178 years were given to graduates of the school.

It has changed beyond recognition over the past decade, the material and technical base and the appearance of the school. The school has initiated the creation of the technical bases of aviation training in special secondary schools for civil aviation and the introduction in the educational process of computer and television technology. These achievements demonstrate and were spotted during the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the Soviet Union.

The practical preparation of students was conducted at a training airfield, which is located on the territory of the school. The staff of the school at the end of the airfield 50-ies involved in the practical training of maintenance IL-14, An-2 aircraft and helicopter Mi-4 cadets. Later training aviation transport base relocated outside the city of Troitsk. In 1970 training airfield was equipped with a dirt runway with all the necessary landing marks, which landed three of the AN-24, IL-14And Yak-40.

At the training airfield there are currently aircraft: Yak-42 - one copy, An-24 - four copies, An-28 - two copies, An-2 - one copy, Mi-8 helicopter - one copy.  

Since 1963, the college has organized a circle for driving and studying snowmobiles. In the winter of 1971, a snowmobile run through the Chelyabinsk region was conducted. 

The college is currently continuing to train specialists for civil aviation and other sectors of the national economy.
