F-6 (ANT-7) - a multi-purpose Soviet aircraft, which had the following destination options: scout bomber, torpedo, triple fighter.

History

In the middle of 20-ies it became a popular theory about the need to position a part of the military forces of long-distance fighters to infiltrate deep behind enemy lines.

Slightly reworked TB-1 design and comes with its engines BMW-IV, was able to reduce the size and weight of the aircraft. The speed of the aircraft was about the same as that of the single-engine biplanes of the time. The first prototype was built in September 1929, at a trial only began in May 1930-th after the modifications of the aircraft. State flight tests began in October 1931 years.
