The plot, based on real events, takes the viewer to the end of April 1940, when World War II had just begun. In the airspace of the Scandinavian Peninsula, a German fighter appears, deviating from the course during a full-scale attack on the naval forces of Great Britain. Here, in the sky over Norway, the airspace was patrolled by an English fighter, who got involved in an air battle with a German plane.

By coincidence, or doom, both air machines are damaged and suffer wreck close to each other. A few hours after wandering, German and English fighter crew noticed the snow-covered house, in which there is a further development of events.

Since the German crew was armed, the British are taken prisoner, however, some time later, it turns out that in order for both the Germans and the British to survive, they need to cooperate, which causes personal sympathy for each other against the backdrop of an ongoing snowstorm and boundless whitish mountains that separate them from the whole world.
