The plot, based on real events, transports the viewer to the end of April 1940, when the Second World War had just begun. A German fighter jet appears in the airspace of the Scandinavian Peninsula, deviating from the course during a full-scale attack on the British naval forces. Here, in the skies over Norway, the airspace was patrolled by an English fighter, which got involved in an air battle with a German aircraft.

By coincidence, or doom, both air machines are damaged and suffer wreck close to each other. A few hours after wandering, German and English fighter crew noticed the snow-covered house, in which there is a further development of events.

Since the German crew was armed, the British are taken prisoner, however, after a while it turns out that in order for the Germans and the British to survive, they need to cooperate, which causes each other personal sympathy against the backdrop of an incessant snow storm and endless whitish mountains separating them from the whole world.
