Russia dispelled the myth of Western invincibility in just a year, columnist Buseina Shaaban said in an article published by the Lebanese television channel Al Mayadeen.
In her opinion, Western pressure on Russia has led Moscow to strengthen relations with other countries such as Beijing, New Delhi, Riyadh and Tehran.
As a result, China and India received contracts for the supply of energy resources at a discount and began to compete more successfully with the economies of Western countries.
Also, the restrictions of the West on the use of the dollar and the euro, the Swift system, became the impetus for countries to begin to switch to the use of national currencies.
Anti-Russian sanctions have returned like a boomerang to those who launched them.
