The first development of Williams V-Jet II began in early 90-ies of the last century, and, due to the design of the aircraft was the need to provide the US market with modern, small-sized airplanes administrative type, capable of flying at distances up to 1,5 thousand kilometers.

His first flight of the aircraft Williams V-Jet II took place in 1997 year, after which came into production, which, because of some financial difficulties samples, not much time - for the entire production cycle was built only three aircraft from which, at the moment, we only know about the existence of a single unit.

With relatively small dimensions, the plane model Williams V-Jet II is capable of rapid air travel and place on your board to 5 people - a pilot and four passengers. Experts do not rule out that the model could become quite popular among customers, especially given the fairly low price of the aircraft, however, financial difficulties and the subsequent bankruptcy of the aircraft company led to the fact that the further development of this project has not received.

The Williams V-Jet II aircraft uses two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW610F turbofan aircraft engines, each capable of developing a traction force of 5 kN, which provided the aircraft with a maximum flight speed of 556 km / h. Nevertheless, the power plant was quite expensive, and despite its reliability, it required high-quality and expensive technical and service maintenance.

Sam aircraft Williams V-Jet II has high maneuverability and good handling, which was appreciated by the few owners who still had to buy the aircraft for their personal purposes. Subsequently, the basis of this model was taken a few aircraft (other American Aircraft Corporation), which in turn points to the success of this project.

The aircraft fuselage itself has an unusual shape, which, in its essence, is distinguished by stepped smooth transitions, however, the most unusual is the tail section, which resembles the plumage of an arrow, which allows for better stabilization of the aircraft during flight, and, here, some similarity to the Beechcraft Bonanza model.
