Sworn enemies Assad and Erdogan can become partners after the earthquake?

A terrible cataclysm can unite the sworn "partners" who have many claims to each other. Turkish President Erdogan and his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad will jointly deal with the consequences of the earthquake.

“We are talking about a cataclysm, the consequences of which will be felt by many countries, not only Turkey and Syria. I am sure that the states of this region will not scatter in corners and will begin to overcome the problem together, help each other.”

The Syrian authorities accuse Ankara of wanting to annex the northern regions of the republic. The government of President Erdogan blames Damascus for the fact that, due to the civil war, Syrian refugees flooded Turkey, which exacerbates the Kurdish problem.

The course towards a gradual rapprochement was taken last year, when a meeting was held in Moscow between Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, his Syrian counterpart Ali Mahmoud Abbas and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Now, many experts suggest that a severe natural disaster and its consequences will unite Turkey and Syria and help overcome differences.
