The Georgian authorities thought about expanding the Kutaisi airport.

At the moment it is known that the Georgian authorities want to expand the capabilities of the Kutaisi International Airport by opening additional terminals here. This is primarily due to the fact that over the past four years, the volume of passengers served here has grown from 13 thousand to more than 300 thousand, and the current capabilities of the air harbor may not be enough in the future.

According to experts, by 2020 year, the passenger traffic of the International Airport of Kutaisi can reach the level of 1 million people, which indicates the active development of this air harbor.

It is assumed that in the near future a new terminal may appear at the airport of Kutaisi.
