Satellite images show that Tiraspol Airport is preparing to receive Russian military aircraft.

According to the data presented, the Tiraspol airport has undergone modernization and is now fully capable of receiving Russian military aircraft. This, in turn, quite frightened the West, because if Russia had such a desire, taking into account the coordination of actions with the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Russia could deploy a very large contingent of troops on the territory of Pridnestrovie, including to protect the unrecognized state, and also to support their peacekeeping forces.

In the presented picture, you can see that the Tiraspol airport has really changed a lot lately and is currently completely ready to receive almost any type of aircraft, with the exception of heavy aircraft. So far, there are no official statements from the PMR authorities on this matter, however, given that Ukraine poses a serious threat to Transnistria, it is more than likely that Tiraspol is preparing for the worst-case scenario.
