The Airbus Airbus Company has expressed its intention to start creating a multipurpose helicopter X6.

At the moment, we are talking exclusively about the design of the future multi-purpose helicopter, and, as Avia.pro learned from updated data from Airbus Corporation, the mass production of X6 helicopters, if the project still finds support from investors, will start no earlier than 12-15 years.

The originality of the X6 helicopter will be used for civil aviation, however, Airbus Helicopters did not rule out that the helicopter could later be modified for military purposes. It is assumed that the helicopter X6 will be able to replace in the near future such models as H225 Caracal and NH90Which are currently very effective.

Among other things, some expected technical characteristics of future helicopters from Airbus have appeared. It is assumed that the speed of movement of air vehicles will be at least 400 kilometers per hour, the maximum flight range will be close to 1800 kilometers, the mass of the X6 helicopter will be about 10 tons, and up to 19 people can be accommodated on board the rotary-wing aircraft.
