American fighters fired at the observation post by mistake.

As a result of the tragic incident, at least one soldier was reported killed, while there are also conflicting reports that two people were slightly injured. The incident itself took place in the southern part of New Mexico, while the American command has so far refrained from making any comments on this matter.

At the moment, it remains unknown whether one fighter opened fire with air-to-ground missiles, or two combat vehicles fired a salvo at ground targets at once, since in the second case, incorrect coordinates could be the most likely cause of shelling the observation post received by pilots of military vehicles.
