As a result of the US air strike on Syria, Russian military personnel were killed.

Earlier, the information and news resource Avia.pro reported that on Thursday the US Air Force fighters caused several massive air strikes against positions of the Syrian government forces in Deir ez Zor province, in fact, supporting their terrorists of the "Islamic state" (terrorist group, whose activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation - ed.). As follows from the information provided by the organization "SOHR" as a result of the attack, the Russian military also died. It is reported that as a result of the air strike killed at least 14 people, while talking about a large number of seriously wounded, which does not exclude the possibility that the victims may be much more.

There are no details from the SOHR organization yet, but in a number of sources it is reported that it may be "... several Russian military ...".

“If the United States of America really launched missile and bomb strikes on the positions of the Syrian government forces, and the death of Russian servicemen is confirmed, Russia should think about taking appropriate measures, including expanding the range of air defense systems, including controlling the activity on American military air bases ", - the expert marks.

According to the initial data, with the approach of American fighters to the positions of the Syrian government forces, Syria activated air defense systems, in particular, it is about launching two missiles of the "S-200" complexes, however, for unknown reasons, none of them hit the chosen target .
