The previous morning, due to erroneous actions, as a result of which a missile attack was reported, the inhabitants of Hawaii experienced 38 minutes of real fear, which was due to the relatively recent statement by the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un that the DPRK's nuclear program is so developed that the ballistic missiles created can strike Hawaii, and as a demonstration, several test launches have been made.

Nevertheless, experts note that the US Air Force was not ready for a false alarm, despite Donald Trump's earlier statement that in the event of an attack on the United States, strategic bombers would be ready to take off within just 30 minutes. Moreover, it is important to bear in mind that the US Air Force was not put on alert at all, despite the fact that the alarm was canceled only after 38 minutes.
