American congressman Brian Mast, who, by the way, is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, made absurdities when congratulating American naval sailors on US Navy Day by posting a corresponding congratulation with the image of the Russian cruiser Peter the Great.

Experts drew attention to the fact that the side number of the ship is smeared, but its contours and design are completely identical to the Russian cruiser Peter the Great.

Such a congratulation has already caused a sharp wave of criticism both against the congressman and the US military, emphasizing that apparently there are no ships in the arsenal of the US Navy that could be a symbol of the day of the US Navy.

At the moment, the error has already been noticed and the image corrected, replacing it with the official promo clip of the US Navy.

It should be clarified that this is not the first incidental situation of this kind, and there are errors both from the side of the American military and politicians, as well as from the Russian side.
