In the US, an explosion occurred on board a military aircraft.

As it became known, today an explosion occurred on board the F-18 military fighter on the American military base "Marimar" (California - ed.). As a result of the incident, at least two people were injured, who were taken to hospital with severe burns and wounds.

The reasons for what happened on board the military airplane of the explosion are not known at the moment, however, experts expressed the opinion that the fuel was ignited in one of the tanks, however, the experts are to clarify the circumstances within the framework of the conducted investigation.

Official comments on this matter from the command of the US Air Force have not yet been received.
