The modern American fighter F-35 lost training air battle to the fighter F-16.

In the course of the training battle it became clear that the American F-16 fighter, developed back in the 70-ies of the last century, proved to be more maneuverable, as a result of which, in close combat, this aircraft was able several times to "destroy" the modern 5 fighter generation, F-35.

Nevertheless, as it became known to Avia.pro, the 5th generation fighter proved to be more effective in long-range combat when the use of missiles becomes rational. In turn, this issue seriously worried the command of the US Air Force, which is why it is worth assuming that in the coming years, F-35 fighters will undergo modernization.
