The American spaceplane tested the defense capability of Russia and China.

Military analysts from the PRC suggested that the recently returned from space US spaceplane X-37, which was in Earth's orbit with a secret mission, could test the readiness of Russia and China to repel a nuclear attack from outer space. This issue became especially relevant after US President Donald Trump announced the need to create another type of armed forces - space troops.

Considering the fact that the American spaceplane was in the orbit of the planet for a very long time and during this period was not detected, there is an assumption that neither Russia, nor China, nor any other country was ready to repel an American military strike from space. In fact, such a spaceplane can be equipped with nuclear missiles, which may well strike at the main potential adversaries of the United States, which are Russia and China; moreover, today, according to American military experts, there are no missiles capable of hitting targets at large distance from the Earth.

On the other hand, to date, these are only assumptions that are not backed by any facts, although earlier China announced the completion of the development of special missiles that would allow the destruction of military satellites and space vehicles of a potential enemy, including those far from the Earth's surface.

It should be clarified that during its last mission, the spaceport X-37 stayed in the orbit of the Earth for 718 days.
