Chinese fighter jets were sent to intercept a US reconnaissance plane.

The Pentagon has already expressed its concerns to the authorities of the PRC on the dangerous proximity of the Chinese fighter-interceptor with an American reconnaissance plane, exercise flight over the South China Sea. Details of the incident were not disclosed, but according to some sources, one of two sent to intercept the American samolёta- "spy" Chinese fighters, flying in 18 meters from the intelligence wing of the aircraft, thereby forcing American pilots to change course.

As noted by the authorities of the PRC, the US plane approaching the borders of the country, and therefore, were sent military aircraft to escort, however, no dangerous maneuvers by the Chinese pilots had not been done.
