US strategic bomber struck Syria

US Air Force strategic bomber Rockwell B-1 Lancer struck Syria.

On the eve of the day it became known that an American strategic bomber Rockwell B-1 Lancer was spotted in the skies over the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, which struck several blows with cruise missiles. Air strikes of the US Air Force fell on the positions of terrorists of the "Islamic State", near the Syrian city of Hadzhin, while, despite the proximity of the positions of the Syrian military, the United States did not attack them.

Proof of this are photos taken by the US Air Force, which captured the American strategic bomber Rockwell B-1 Lancer, flying near the positions that were used for air strikes. There have been no official comments from the US Air Force Command, but it has indeed previously been reported that US aircraft were used to attack positions protected by terrorists on one of the banks of the Euphrates River.

There are no data on the number of strikes so far, but the appearance of strategic bombers in the skies over Syria was the first in the last year, and if earlier combat aircraft flew mainly over the territory controlled by the United States, now they appeared over the territory of the SAR controlled by the Syrian military.
