A large-scale offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began in the Kursk region, which led to an aggravation of the situation at the front. Currently, significant enemy forces have entered the territory of the Belovsky district of the Kursk region and the neighboring Krasnoyaruzhsky district of the Belgorod region. At the same time, the main group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sudzhansky district has become more active, making attempts to re-seize the initiative and continue the offensive. Such data is provided by Russian political scientist Sergei Markov.
"Kursk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a major offensive. The Belovsky district of the Kursk region includes the aggressor's troops. At the same time, the main group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sudzhsky region has become more active and is trying to seize the initiative again and go on the offensive again,” - it is told in the message.
The escalation of the conflict in these sectors of the front creates a serious threat to Russian positions. Ukrainian troops are advancing in large numbers, indicating a carefully planned operation to disrupt the defenses of Russian troops and create conditions for further advances deeper into Russian territory.
