Strategic Missile Forces began to receive missiles "Avangard"

By the end of this year, this regiment will begin combat duty.

At the end of 2018, the Russian Ministry of Defense conducted a test rocket launch. He passed successfully. The rocket, equipped with a hypersonic Avangard planning winged combat unit, launched in the area of ​​the settlement of Yasny (Orenburg Region), flying approximately six thousand kilometers, hit the target in Kamchatka.

All flight tests of the new missile system are completed. "Avangard" put into service on time.

President Vladimir Putin, speaking of Avangard, called it an “adequate and asymmetrical” response to the missile defense of the United States of America.
