FAB-3000 aircraft bombs with UMPC will be ready for use within a few weeks

In recent days, rumors have been spreading about the use of new FAB-3000 aerial bombs, but these reports have not yet been confirmed. The development of controllable gliding wing modules (GUMPK) in the FAB-3000 caliber is at the final stage and it is expected that they will be ready for practical use within a few weeks. Such data is provided by a former military pilot of the Telegram channel “Fighterbomber”.

According to information provided by sources, at the first stage, the FAB-3000 UMPC will be tested at test sites. After successful completion of the tests, they will be tested in combat conditions and only after that the new bombs will be delivered to combat regiments.

The developers note that the carrier of the FAB-3000 UMPC will be the Su-34 bomber, however, other bombers, including the Tu-22M, may well be used for these purposes.

The question of the advisability of using a UMPC of this caliber is being discussed by experts. The use of controlled glide wing modules on large-caliber bombs, such as the FAB-3000, will increase the accuracy and range of hitting targets.
