Airlines spent on aviation fuel for their aircraft 27 billion dollars

Airlines spent 27 billion dollars on fuel for their aircraft.

As follows from the materials submitted by the International Air Transport Association, since the beginning of this year, the world's air carriers have spent about 27 billion dollars to buy fuel for their aircraft. In fact, this indicator is relatively small, as the profit of carriers from the services rendered is incomparably greater.

According to available data, the largest cost of aviation fuel is observed today in Latin and Central America (about 49,3 cents per liter - ed.), While the lowest cost of aviation fuel is observed in the Middle East and Africa (about 47,3 cents per liter - Ed.).

It is assumed that by 2020 year the cost of air carriers for fuel will reach 30 billion.
