The Russian transport airline Volga-Dnepr intends to acquire Boeing 20 cargo planes.

According to information from Avia.pro, the total amount of the upcoming transaction will be about 7.4 billion dollars, but the airline’s management denied rumors that, due to the acquisition of Boeing 747-8 Freighter airliners, Ukrainian An-124 transport aircraft will not be operated.

It is noted that the acquisition of new cargo aircraft will provide ample opportunities for the further development of the air carrier, which is now an urgent need. It is expected that the new aircraft will be delivered to the airline within 7 years.
