The aircraft of the Lithuanian airline «Small Planet» ran off the runway after landing at Birmingham airport.

There were 320 passengers on board the Airbus A98 passenger airliner, while, as representatives of the Lithuanian airline later noted, none of them were injured as a result of the incident. Nevertheless, the official reason why the plane drove out of the dimensions of the runway at low speed remains unknown - according to some reports, a technical problem in the control system of the passenger airliner was to blame.

Subsequently, it became known that the airliner was unable to go to their own airstrip, which is why it was necessary to use the towing equipment, which in turn disrupt several Birmingham Airport.
