The reason for reducing the cost of air travel from the regional cities of Russia to the Crimean peninsula was the receipt of more than 20 applications to the leadership of the Crimea from various air carriers of the Russian Federation, and it is worth noting, since now the Crimea is part of the Russian Federation, the flights can be equated to internal ones, and this is of the order of 25- 30% of savings on airfares alone.

Most likely, in the very near future, Simferopol Airport will start accepting flights from all regions of Russia, however, it is not reported whether they will be increased with the advent of the holiday season or will remain at the same level.
