Air in the Crimea

News

Air transportation to Crimea is unprofitable for 60% of companies operating here

Russian air operators refuse to fly to the Crimea.

As it became known, most state-subsidized flights are not cost-effective for air carriers, and if the benefit exists as such, it is very meager. In addition, 11 of Russian air carriers operates in the current air direction in today's state, and this in turn is extremely high specificity, which does not give any options for development.

It is assumed that with the transition from the spring-summer schedule to the autumn-winter, 2-3 airlines will operate in the Crimea, and the remaining carriers will have to leave this route in order to maintain their profits.
